It is a pity to all the senior citizen and elderly people who regularly come here. At first when the casino is not that full of people you can tolerate it but during peak hours or at night or near midnight when all the smoke has accumulated you inhale all the smoke and you basically feel the congestion and stuffiness of the poor quality of air you are breathing. This casino is the most poorly ventilated casino in California. Perhaps the management at Chumash should visit Yaamava to see it for themselves. Look at Yaamava, more people go there now and their patronage have gone up despite the fact that it is absolutely a non-smoking casino. Chumash management needs to understand people go to your casino to play and gamble and not to smoke. It does make sense to make this a non- smoking area because you do not need to inhale all the smoke as you walk the entire casino to reach the non-smoking section at the very end. I wish this particular section could be converted also to a non-smoking area. I have to say that at the immediate casino area after the parking next to Starbucks, the condition is terrible.
Also some of the machines in the non-smoking area wherein the buttons were broke or not functioning, a lot have been fixed already. It has improved a little bit but not perfect vetilation yet. I noticed some improvement in the casino when it comes to the ventilation.
